They’re a guide to what’s typical nationally — not a quote, a promise of what you’ll pay, or proof that any particular clinic is overcharging. Real prices legitimately vary with clinic, city, materials and the complexity of your case. A quote above a typical range isn’t automatically unfair, and a quote below one isn’t automatically a bargain.
Your dentist is the expert on your treatment
Use your scorecard as a conversation starter, not a verdict on your dentist. The best outcome of a Dental Magazine check is usually a better conversation: clearer itemisation, honest answers about inclusions, and confidence in whatever you decide.
