1. About Dental Magazine
Dental Magazine is a free service for Australian patients that compares dental treatment quotes against indicative Australian pricing benchmarks. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. Not dental, medical or financial advice
Dental Magazine is an information service about pricing only. We never assess whether a treatment is clinically right for you.
Dental Magazine provides general pricing information only. It is not dental, medical or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a registered dental practitioner. Always talk to your dentist before making treatment decisions.
3. Accuracy and benchmarks
Our benchmarks are drawn from published Australian fee data, clinic price lists and national fee surveys. They are indicative ranges, not quotes, and actual prices vary by clinic, city and the complexity of your case. We work hard to keep our data current, but we can’t guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any analysis, and a comparison is only as good as the information you give us. Always verify pricing directly with providers before making decisions.
4. Your account and your content
- You must provide a valid email address and keep access to it secure — sign-in codes are sent to that address.
- You keep ownership of the documents you upload. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service to you, including the referral service described below.
- Only upload documents you have the right to share, and use the service for your own (or your family’s) genuine treatment decisions.
5. Referrals and contact
Dental Magazine is free for patients because dental providers pay us a referral fee when we connect them with a patient. By creating an account you agree that:
- if we believe a dental provider (for example, a dental implant provider) may offer you better value than the quote you checked, we may contact you about it — by email, or by phone if you have provided a number;
- we may share your contact details and relevant details of your treatment enquiry with that provider so they can offer you a comparison quote;
- whether you engage any provider is entirely your decision — we receive a referral fee, but referral arrangements never change what your scorecard says.
You can withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account from the dashboard, or by contacting us.
6. The service may change
Dental Magazine is free today and we intend to keep it that way for patients. We may add, change or retire features over time, and we may suspend or discontinue the service. Where reasonably possible, we’ll give you the chance to download or delete your data first.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, the service is provided free of charge and “as is”, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we aren’t liable for decisions you make in reliance on it — treatment decisions belong with you and your registered dental practitioner.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be handled in Australian courts.
